Robert Gustaveson

I grew up during the Great Depression in Los Angeles. I spent the summer of 1941 in the Walker Mansion in Hollywood's Laurel Canyon where the magician Houdini once lived. This was the Inspiration of my Laurel Canyon Ghost book.

I served as a judge for 31 years in Los Angeles County. I handled numerous murder and gang related Jury trials. During the Korean War I served as an officer in the 5th Air Force 67th Tactical Recognizance Wing in Kimpo Korea.

I'm currently retired, writing novels, drawing cartoons, and traveling. My wife Julia Anne passed away in 2012. We have five children, nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
