Dick Harrison

Dick Harrison is a lifelong writer, copywriter, ghostwriter, scriptwriter, speechwriter and just about every other kind of wordsmith he could be with twenty-six keys and two fast-flying fingers. It all began when he started selling writing at fourteen, and he's still at it more than a half century later.

Twenty of those years were spent as a creative director at ad agencies McCann-Erickson, BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. Those jobs took him all across the U.S, throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, to Europe and to Africa.

He also freelanced, writing shows for PBS and The Discovery Channel and articles for Town and Country, Cosmopolitan, Field and Stream and many more magazines. Plus blogs, videos, ghostwritten books, ads, TV commercials, direct mail, instructional materials, websites, catalogs, speeches, annual reports and more.

The New York Times praised a book he ghosted, "The Catch and the Feast," as "excellent...delightful...sensitive and perceptive."

Dick has lectured at universities from California to Puerto Rico and taught seminars on writing and creative technique.

"Two Fast Fingers & 26 Keys" is the first book Dick has written with his own name on the cover.
