Fleur Philips is an award-winning author with an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University and a BA in English from the University of Montana. Her debut novel, I Am Lucky Bird, was recognized as a General Fiction Finalist for ForeWord Reviews’ 2011 Book of the Year Award. Her second novel, Crumble, earned multiple honors, including Young Adult Winner at the 2013 San Francisco Book Festival, Young Adult Fiction Finalist at the International Book Awards, and a Silver Medal in the Young Adult—Mature Issues category from the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. It was also named a YA Fiction Finalist in the USA Best Book Awards. Her third novel, Beautiful Girl, was a YA Fiction Finalist in the 2015 USA Best Book Awards, and her most recent work, Dalila, was a Finalist in the 2020 Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the E-Book Fiction category, and a General Fiction Finalist in the 15th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards. Most recently, Crumble was awarded the 2025 International Impact Book Award in the category of Young Adult Fiction - Young Adult Drama. She currently resides in Missoula, Montana and is the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at the University of Montana Foundation.
