Yvonne Carson

Yvonne Carson is a multi-passionate creative, author, and minister with a heart for helping Christian women—especially those over 50—rediscover purpose, healing, and creativity through faith.

Born and raised in New York City, Yvonne’s artistic journey began unexpectedly at age 60 when she clearly heard God say, “You’re an artist!” Having never drawn before, she surrendered to the call and began creating original works that now inspire and uplift women around the world. Her first publication, African American Coloring Book: Positive Quotes and Journal, features her own hand-drawn illustrations and empowering affirmations of faith.

Today, Yvonne leads Thrive & Shine After 50 for Christian Women, a growing YouTube ministry and creative movement designed to encourage mature women of faith to pray boldly, create fearlessly, and live purposefully in the power of God. She is also the founder of Art By Vōné LLC, where she designs inspirational art prints, devotionals, and digital products that blend Scripture and creativity, and the visionary behind The Pray-n-Paint Circle, an online faith and art community focused on restoration, worship, and creative expression.

Yvonne holds a Master of Divinity (2006) and a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy (2008) from Oral Roberts University, and was licensed as a minister that same year after completing the minister-in-training program at Greenwood Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, under Bishop Gary McIntosh.

Through her books, artwork, and online ministry, Yvonne continues to champion this message: It’s never too late to start again. Whether through prayer, painting, or purpose, her mission is to help women reconnect with their Creator and thrive in every area of life.
