I have been a primary school teacher (among other careers) and have dabbled in cartooning, illustration, music and film for much of my life. This included writing and illustrating cards for a major greeting card company, and awards for my comedy short film, "The Brink". But writing books is my favorite thing to do.

I began writing books for my children when they were starting to read. I was inspired by my joy when reading with them, and soon decided I wanted to write stories that kids would find funny, might gain some life lessons, and their parents would enjoy reading too.

I like humor - a lot. I also see great value in the tradition of storytelling to demonstrate concepts that may help children traverse some of life's difficulties (such as being called 'Farty bum breath').

My books are generally written for middle school readers (8-12 years) but the Trevor series, in particular, discusses a lot of social and emotional concepts so I personally think there is something for everyone in them. I know lots of adults like them.

The Super Ninja Series is now complete - the double-sized book 4 completed at the end of 2021. The Trevor Series will continue. Expect to see audiobooks of the Super Ninja series soon, and hopefully some non-English written translations.
