Elaine Kennelly

Elaine Kennelly is a Christian writer, published author, and inspirational speaker. But first and foremost, she is a mom who lost her eighteen year old son to suicide. She is also a mom to a son who lost his older brother and the wife of a husband who lost his teenage son to suicide. Together their family survived a suicide loss. It was a difficult journey, long and painful, but the good news is that they found peace and even joy again in their lives. The Good News is God’s grace always wins!

Elaine is a graduate of Concordia University, Chicago. She is also a successful businesswoman in retail and real estate business ownership. She created her own cable TV show, Elaine’s World, and has created two websites, her most current being www.elainekennelly.com. Her weekly blog, Encouragement from Elaine, appears on this website for personal inspiration and spiritual growth. She has taught numerous Bible classes and has been a speaker at women’s retreats.
