Since 1962, Joseph Katarincic has been actively engaged in the practice of law in Pittsburgh. During that period of time he has tried cases in approximately 30 federal courts throughout the United States, innumerable state courts, and Allegheny, Greene, Westmoreland and Washington Counties in Pennsylvania. Mr. Katarincic spent much of the 1980's in arbitration cases throughout the world, including Iran, Iraq, Zambia, Indonesia, Venezuela, Korea and Pakistan. He was recognized by the Duquesne University School of Law with the program's first endowed Chair. For several years, most recently in 2006, Mr. Katarincic has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor bestowed upon the top five percent of Pennsylvania lawyers.
In 2011, Mr. Katarincic's first fictional work was released. Too High A Price is based on a personal injury case that stemmed from an incident more than 40 years ago on the Hot Metal Bridge on Pittsburgh's South Side.
