Deborah McVay-McKinney

Author Deborah McVay Williams, formerly McVay McKinney, was voted #1 by readers in the 10th Annual Akron Life Best of the City awards as Best Author and Best Entrepreneur for her company, Time to Spare, LLC, a corporate and non-profit event planning and management service. "Marketing through Recognition" is its goal, providing clients with more than 35 years of event planning, marketing, public relations, and administration experience. As a freelance publicity writer, she spent five years writing a monthly "Unsung Heroes" column for ScripType Publishing featuring random acts of kindness by Northeast Ohio area youth. Ms. Williams' life management workshops are presented to business, networking, community, and special interest groups. Her work has been featured in Currents of Cleveland's "Celebrating Women" issue and she was honored twice as a SHEro during the Women's Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation for making a difference in the lives of others.
