After working as a waitress in an ice cream parlor, a bartender at a historic Texas restaurant, and a trauma nurse at the busiest pediatric ER in the country, I earned a journalism degree and wrote for multiple publications including American Journal of Nursing, Hot Moms' Club, and Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul 2.

With all that under my belt, I decided to bring the chaos down a notch, get married, have four kids, and write "just one" romance novel

Now working on my tenth book, I'm also the host of Readers Entertainment Radio and have a monthly book picks segment on the morning show, San Antonio Living.

I don't see my life slowing down anytime soon and I love every minute of it.
