David L. Scott Accounting Professor

David L. Scott was born and raised in Rushville, Indiana. He earned degrees from Purdue University, Florida State University and a PhD in economics from the University of Arkansas. He has authored nearly two dozen books in personal finance and investing including "Wall Street Words" and "The American Heritage Dictionary of Accounting" for Houghton Mifflin. He and wife, Kay, are authors of "The Complete Guide to the National Park Lodges" that is now in its 10th edition, and "Exploring the Oregon Trail", both published by The Globe Pequot Press. They formerly wrote a weekly travel column for CNHI, an Alabama-based firm with over 100 newspapers.
