Ian M. Ferguson

Ian MacGregor Ferguson was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in Toronto and Montreal. A graduate Electrical Engineer, he spent his entire career in the computer field in Canada and the USA and led four international companies as COO or CEO with offices in Asia and Europe.

I discovered writing in the 90's and was instantly smitten. I find I MUST write and I completely lose myself in the work. Some of my manuscripts are now finding their way on to the Kindle site with more to come. After being 'pushed' into publishing in late 2012, I have found new excitement and drive behind my writing. I would describe my works as plot driven. I write the books I would like to read with plot twists and as many surprises and chapter cliff hangers as I can pack into a story.

As an Engineer, I started out with what think of as 'believeable' science fiction. I then enjoyed creating a couple terrorist chase adventure/dramas and more reccently a romance. I am always learning and I think each successive manuscript is more skillfully composed than the last. I now have 10 novels and a short story on Amazon/Kindle and the more recent books are available in paperback and hardcover.
