Sherrie Hay

Sherrie Hay (1949-present)was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada to a father in the Canadian Air Force and a home maker angel of a mother. She taught in both the public and Catholic school systems for a total of 33 years. She spent 25 of those years working in diverse areas of Special Education, due to her passion for defending those who are unable to defend themselves.

Sherrie retired from teaching in 2004 and joined her husband in creating a warm, supportive community at their summer eco-tourism campsite business in northern Alberta, Canada. She considers this community her classroom. Sherrie is passionate about teaching others to preserve the natural environment. Recently they installed solar panels at their campsite in their efforts to be in harmony with nature.
