Cindy Hinerman

Cindy Hinerman graduated from Stanton high school in 1987. She started writing poems and had a desire to help others overcome obstacles. She worked from an early age cleaning houses to have the ability to move into adulthood independently. She moved into an apartment at the age of 18 while working fast food and as a secretary. She started to write a novel but became busy with work and tucked the manuscript away in her memory box. She married and had a son who was an inspiration for her to move forward and reach greater goals than she had previously set. She earned a business degree from Eastern Gateway Community College, a bachelors of science degree in education specializing in reading from Franciscan University of Steubenville, a masters of arts degree in special education from West Virginia University and loves teaching and writing. She knows teaching is a gift and the students are a greater gift. She knows she has a talent to help others through her writing. She was stunned with energy and ambition one summer to finish the manuscript she started and try and use her stories to help others, pulled it from her memory box and put in long 12 and 18 hour days finishing what she started. At last, it is now published and she is writing with more ambition than she ever had soon to publish another novel. She has had a children's book published through the Success for All Reading Foundation for use in their reading program. She values every moment she has with her son, favors riding motorcycles with her husband and would love to race something in her spare time.
