Helen Webster

Helen likes nothing better than exploring on foot and is a keen hillwalker and backpacker. The author and photographer of eighteen books and several magazine articles on the subject, she lives in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands.

In 2003-4 Helen undertook a 4,000 mile continuous walk across Europe with her husband Paul.

She is the co-founder of the award-winning Walkhighlands website, a social network and free online guide for walkers in Scotland.
