K C Maguire is the fiction pen-name of Jacqui Lipton, a law professor, consultant, editor and academic/nonfiction author with an interest in all things literary. She holds an M.F.A. in fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts, an LL.B. from the University of Melbourne, and an LL.M. and Ph.D. in intellectual property law from Cambridge University.
