Tara Swiger

Tara Swiger is a maker, author and podcaster.

She quit her boring office job in 2009 to sell yarn online full-time. Inundated with questions about how she did it, and finding a lack of marketing advice for makers, she began teaching classes in 2010, which became her first book, Market Yourself, in 2012. Her writing has been published and featured in international crafting magazines, popular blogs such as Design Sponge, and in her hometown paper.

She podcasts weekly on Explore Your Enthusiasm and leads creative business owners to become their own best business expert. Tara lives with her husband and two hound dogs in the mountains of East Tennessee.
