Hellen Riebold

Hellen Riebold was born in rural Essex and spent a happy childhood playing with friends, imaginary and real, around the remote farm her family lived on. Having moved over 34 times, Hellen has now settled into her forever home on Exmoor with her long suffering husband, a Yorkie who thinks she's in charge, and a growing collection of ducks.

As a child her overactive imagination often got Hellen in to trouble, until one day her English teacher, Mrs Wright, called her to one side and suggested that she channel the stories she was making up into the written word, rather than reporting them as fact. Hellen thought that sounded like a good plan and gave it a go, discovering a life-long passion in the process.

Hellen enjoys writing in many genres, including science fiction for all ages, thrillers, and inspirational fiction, she also enjoys encouraging others to write too and has started more than one writing group in her time.
