We quit our corporate jobs at 39 to travel in our motorhome, ditching the shirt and tie and pulling on jeans and a T shirt. A decade later we're still in jeans folks! We've no regrets whatsoever, still travelling for years or months at a time across Europe and North Africa. The experiences we've had have been simply wonderful, and we've wanted to encourage others to enjoy the same sensations of freedom and adventure we've had, sharing useful information, hints and tips first at the ourtour.co.uk travel blog and later improved and distilled into our range of books published through Amazon.

Our motorhome travels have carried us from the far Arctic north of Norway where we saw both the midnight sun and the northern lights, all the way south to the high dunes at the edge of the Sahara Desert in Tunisia and Morocco. Motorhomes have proven to be a highly liberating, flexible, comfortable and safe way of travelling for us, and for the many thousands of other tourers we meet on the road.
