Richard Dillard

A native of Detroit, MI, Richard started his professional career as a United States Marine (1984-Present). Since then, he has served in a variety of performance leadership roles with organizations ranging from Fortune 100 to mid-market to start-up's and niche/ boutique consulting firms. He has also served as a performance consultant to Fortune 20 clients, large privately-held companies and health care systems, as well as small businesses.

Richard eventually started his own performance consulting practice, Dillard Partners, LLC in 2006, and a second in 2025, Tyleum Group LLC, specializing in both personal solutions (i.e., coaching/ mentoring) and organizational solutions (i.e., culture, leadership, and teams), and still works in that capacity on a part-time basis today as an Executive Coach. Richard retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve in 2014 and continues to work full-time as a Director, DoD in Defense Contracting.

Richard's awards include the Navy Commendation Medal from the Secretary of the Navy, the Award of Commendation from the National Safety Council, and numerous organizational citations for superior performance. He is also listed in the Honor's Edition of the 2006-07 Registry for Madison Who's Who among Executives and Professionals.

Richard credentials include certification as AchieveGlobal Leadership and Service Facilitator, Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL Foundations, Scaled Agile (SAFe Government Practitioner), and Six Sigma Black Belt. Richard also held the Human Synergistics® International designation of Associate/ Affiliate Consultant and is a Corpus Optima (SuperPerformance) Partner.

Continually engaged in some facet of giving himself away and reinvesting in the community, Richard currently lives in Southern Illinois with his incredible wife of over 33 years, Stacey, and the youngest (Layla) of four daughters; enjoying time with Jordan, Kaitlyn (Joe, husband, and Henrick, grandson) and Patricia (Andy, husband, and Lorelai, granddaughter).
