Eliq Maranik

Eliq Maranik is a Swedish author, photographer, and art director, born in 1981 in Estonia. Her books have been published in twelve languages and are sold and read in thirty countries throughout the world. Some of her bestselling books have gained international prizes, such as the International Gourmand Cookbook Award.

As an author she also writes for the Swedish magazine Nära and has worked on various projects with one of Sweden’s biggest nationwide newspapers, Aftonbladet. In addition to being an author and photographer, she works as an art director and designer, and runs a book production company.

Eliq leads a healthy lifestyle, loves working out and taking care of her body, without completely renouncing the tasty pleasures of life, instead allowing herself some indulgence every once in a while. She loves creating new recipes that are both nutritious, delicious, and look fabulous. In her gorgeous books, which are centered around smoothies of all types and colors, she shares her passion and knowledge about fruits, vegetables, superfoods, and all other beneficial ingredients that make your body happy.

Someone once said, it doesn’t matter what you eat or do from Christmas to New Year, what matters is what you eat or do from New Year to Christmas.
