Karren Bennett

Karren Bennett is a children’s author who creates colorful picture books, imaginative adventures, and educational books designed to make learning fun.

A recovering computer geek, Karren traded computer code for stories that inspire curiosity, encourage imagination, and—she hopes—become treasured bedtime favorites. Her books include The Color of Birds: A Baby’s First Book of Colors and a growing collection of stories and learning resources for young readers.

When she isn’t writing, Karren is usually daydreaming, watching the stars, looking for fossils, or tracking Bigfoot.

She lives in Texas with her novelist husband and a dancing parrot.
