J. Keller Ford writes young adult fantasy and speculative fiction fueled by a lifelong love of adventure, magic, and dragons. As an Army brat, she spent her childhood traveling the world and exploring some of Germany’s most awe-inspiring castles, always keeping an eye out for snarky dragons, noble knights, and secret doorways to enchanted realms. While she never did catch a dragon in the wild, the stories she discovered along the way took up permanent residence in her imagination and continue to spill onto the page in tales filled with courage, sacrifice, honor, and enduring love.

When she’s not plotting epic adventures, terrorizing her keyboard, or negotiating with the fictional characters living rent-free in her head, J. Keller can be found collecting seashells, hurling bowling balls, screaming her way through roller coasters, or dreaming up her next travel destination. She is the proud mother of four extraordinary humans and shares her slice of paradise on Florida’s west coast with a delightfully royal menagerie of pets and the brave, quirky knight who somehow agreed to marry her.

J. Keller is the author of The Chronicles of Fallhollow Trilogy, including IIN THE SHADOW OF THE DRAGON KING, RAGE OF THE DRAGON KING, and BANE OF THE DRAGON KING. She is currently at work on The Fae Hunter Series, a new young adult fantasy adventure slated to begin releasing in 2027.
