Janet Steele

Janet Steele has always loved interacting with children and watching them at play. Her first book is a children's book called "Imagine That! What If You Had An Imaginary Friend Too". The story is based on a young boy's interactions with an imaginary friend. The idea for "Imagine That" came from observing one of her sons with his imaginary friend.

Janet gets her inspiration for writing from the experience of raising two sons and being a special pal to four grandchildren. Her passion for writing has always been there, but only after retirement from public service has she had the time and energy to pursue it.

Besides being an author, Janet is also a fitness instructor and amateur golf enthusiast. She resides in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, with her husband, John.
