A lifelong outdoorsman, George grew up and continues to reside in Pennsylvania, a state rich in hunting and fishing tradition. He has been fishing and hunting all types of game since an early age. However, deer hunting has always been his passion, both with a rifle and with a bow.
It has always been important to George to never waste the meat from the deer he has taken, so over the years he has found many different ways to prepare venison. He was encouraged by friends and relatives to put them in print resulting in his first book, Venison Recipes Made Simple.
Inspired by its' success, he decided to share fish recipes in his second book, Freshwater Fish Recipes Made Simple. As an avid fisherman, the recipes come from years of preparing his catches from the rivers, streams and lakes of Pennsylvania.
