Kelli Kossel

My interest in writing blossomed in the year 2000 after God made His presence known in my life. Out of nowhere, a line or two of a poem came to my mind. Soon after I wrote the lines, an entire poem had formed on the page. Within two weeks, I had a collection of over twenty-five poems; all spiritual in nature. I knew the poems came from God, even though I was far from Him at the time. God was revealing His character and opening my heart.

Not until after I received Jesus as my Savior and Lord in March of 2008, did God give me a strong desire to write. Soon after, I began writing the story of how God pursued me and how He changed my heart and life. Then, in October of 2010, God called me to begin writing Intersected, (released in June of 2012).

God taught me to be open to doing the work He prepared for me in advance. When God gave me the assignment to write Intersected, I was busy writing devotions and articles. God showed me that, although those pieces were good, He had other plans for me. I discovered that rather than doing “good” things out of my own effort, it is best to do what God has asked of me. Actually, it is more a matter of being available to what God wants to accomplish through me.

Because of my intimate and rewarding relationship with God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—I want others to experience the deep joy and satisfaction that come from really knowing God in a personal way. I learned that reading and studying the Bible and spending time alone with God are crucial to knowing Him. I strive to ignite passion for God in others by sharing all that is available to those who follow Jesus Christ. The most powerful way I can show people how God works is to tell them how He is at work in my life and in the lives of others.

I have since gotten married and now my name is Kelli Miller. In 2016 my husband, Steve, and I started a non-profit ministry called Spirit of Acts: Manifesting God's Word... ALL of it! You can visit our website at www.SpiritOfActs.org and read our various writings. It is definitely not your typical website! We welcome people to contact us via our website email to discuss any of our writings or to ask questions.
