Tom Gehring

Tom Gehring, a lawyer with a substantial practice centered in Santa Monica, California, has been a trial lawyer since graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1979, where he was a member of the Law Review. For more than thirty years, he has been a trial lawyer with cases in both state and federal courts throughout the country. He has also been a mediator and an adjunct professor of law at Pepperdine University School of Law. Tom also continues to work with national and international charities as their lawyer and side-by-side with them to further their charitable, rehabilitative, and reconstructive purposes.

During his more than thirty years of intense trial and litigation work, Tom has devoted his career and life to mediation and conflict resolution. Writing legal briefs, motions, settlement agreements, etc. led naturally to his desire to share these concepts with others seeking resolution to any issue in their lives. Accordingly, after ten years in the writing, in 2012, he completed his first of three concurrently written books, Settle It! . . . and be Blessed. As 2015 begins to unfold, Tom continues to represent a select group of clients while continuing his devotion to mediation, writing, and speaking at conferences, law schools, churches, and national and international charities. Tom's follow up to Settle It!...and be Blessed will be released in the Spring of 2015.
