It's not another Mississippi Burning; it's not about a natural fire!! It's about a real Louisiana family.
The author, Leona W. Smith, is a lifelong resident of Louisiana and has been residing in New Orleans for over 30 years. She was born in Lafayette in the heart of Cajun country and reared in the small town of Lecompte in Central Louisiana. She graduated from Carter C. Raymond High School with honors and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Grambling State University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Leona is a lover of people and began her work in ministry at a young age. As a minister, she has been active in her home church, missionary work and in the care of the elderly. She has always been interested in history and storytelling.

See the prophetic words concerning New Orleans, Louisiana, and the United States given to the author in 2005. Devastation will be on the rise; this would be the beginning.
We not only saw Hurricane's Katrina and Rita and the devastation afterward, but we have also seen such events as:
2011 Tornados- the near destruction of Joplin, Missouri; Fatalities 162
2012 Hurricane Sandy- New York City area- nearly 75 years since a hurricane of such destruction there
2013 Two-mile wide Tornado- near Oklahoma City suburb of Moore - still looking for casualties.
Great devastation. God in his great power is speaking! It's time to pray as never before.
