Scott Dewey

Scott Dewey has long been intrigued by the intersection of social action and spiritual life in “hard places.” Scott earned his B.A. in ancient languages and biblical studies at Wheaton College. Together with his wife and family, Scott has spent several decades of activism in poor and vulnerable communities—in Chicago, Bangkok, Romania, and Denver. Scott lives in a 120-year-old house in the Whittier neighborhood of Denver and often spends time with his teenaged Romanian son (and other youth) in Transylvania. Scott is on staff at Mile High Ministries, serves as a deacon at Anchor of Hope Church, and is an ordained member of the Street Psalms Community. Scott directs Street Psalms Press.
