Ray Bachman

Ray Bachman is an ordained minister who has enjoyed a varied career as pastor, missisonary in Haiti and as an Hispanic chuch planter. His roots are in north Indiana where he grew up and where he spent many of his pastoral ministry years. His spiritual autobiography, "The King and I," documents his life with emphasis on the rewards of making Jesus Christ king of his life and living in obedience to Him.

His Biblical studies in recent years have been concentrated in the area of Biblical prophecy which has provided the basis for three books. His most recent, "Christians, Jews and the End Times" explores the relationship between Christians and Jews and is directed to assisting Christians to more fully understand their Jewish roots of the faith. "The Love Letters of Jesus" deals with the expectations of Jesus for His Bride when He returns for her in the Rapture with special emphasis on the words of Jesus in the second and third chapters of Revelation. The Old Testament book of Zechariah is explored in a study guide to the prophet entitled "The God Who Remembers."

He has also produced two devotional books. "The 3:16's" is based on the 42 verses in the Bible which are in the third chapter and verse 16. "LOOKING UP!Everyday" is composed of nearly forty meditations based on common everyday occurrences and related to appropriate scripture passages.

An earlier book is a study in the book of Acts named "fitly joined together." It explores how drastic discipleship enabled the early Christian church to assimilate multitudes effectively into the ministry of the fledging church. This book has now been enlarged and updated and re-released under the title, "Drastic Disciplesship."

Bachman now lives in the Ozarks with his wife Jeanne and enjoys baking bread, reading mystery novels and working crossword puzzles. He is available for speaking and seminars, most often in the area of bible Prophecy.
