Nigel Daring

I was born and grown in Jamaica, but moved to the United States in 1986. I ended up a writer by first jotting down my thoughts in simple phrases. I found this a great way to vent. Soon phrases matured to stanzas. I thought of myself as a poet for years, but found my poetry could become songs. So I began dubbing myself a musician. I continued my writing, but now found something breathing for greater expression beyond my poetry and songs. Stanzas started becoming paragraphs, which started maturing to essays. From essays, emerged depths of analysis that I found surprising. I never really knew what I had in me. After continuous writing, I found myself with book, a really masterful work. I felt the whole experience of writing a journey and I'm willing to follow this road wherever it takes me. I hope you'll come along too.
