Raised in Nocona Texas, small place along the red river, by a single parent who worked two jobs for most of my childhood, supporting five boys, teaching, correcting, nurturing along the way.
I've always been told I was a good story teller, (got me in trouble with the aforementioned mom a couple of times), I've written poetry or better said I've written my version of poetry since I was in school. My first published work was in the Nocona Annual about what it was to be a Nocona Indian, published as author unknown in the annual, I've been inspired ever since then.
With the events of my daughter and many I've met; the story "Choices" came to life. My first book is about real people, real problems. I've had many people tell me how it fit in their lives, brought up many of the Choices they've made. My hope is to inspire, lend a supporting hand, give encourgement with this book. I've spoken at many social and civic gatherings on the topics covered in "Choices", I've been ask to hospitals were I sat quietly with people listening to their journey. We are all of one creator, we are all of flesh and blood, my first book is about some of the things that make up our lives. I see my daughter or talk with my gorgeous genius everyday even as she continues her struggles with Cystic Fibrosis. I've made choices in my life based solely on her and caring for her condition, some should of been thought through a little better. My second book is a darker and hopefully more twisted story about a young Dr. TJ Connors.
Hopefully you will be inspired in your life, that life will never burden you with more than your heart and soul can bare if so hopefully there are those around you that you can reach out to. (well not much biography in this message, thoughts, views and wishes for you who read "Choices".
