David A. Wardle

Mancunian by birth, I moved to London in 1996 following redundancy and now live in Caterham in Surrey. Insurance is the day job and writing just a hobby - until that bestseller comes along that is.

My first attempt at writing was a competition at school where I won joint first prize, but it was when I was 18 that I set out to write a novel. I succeeded in writing it but not in having it published – until later when I accidentally fell into vanity publishing.

Since then, I have written three other novels and a small children’s book of fairy tales. My most recent novel is not yet published but the other three books are on Amazon.

My latest creation is ‘The Whole in One’, which is all of my published works together in chronological order from the first dodgy novel ‘Trance’ to ‘Once Upon A Week’. The background stories accompany each book, and it is, in effect, my writing journey in one volume.

Outside writing I enjoy puzzles, football, quizzes, and TV, so yes, unfortunately, I am single.
