Christopher D. Nolan

Christopher D. Nolan graduated with honors from the United States Coast Guard Academy in 2002 with a degree in Marine and Environmental Science.

He has served aboard CGC ALEX HALEY in Kodiak Alaska as First Lieutenant and aboard CGC EAGLE in New London Connecticut as Operations Officer and Navigator.

Additionally, he has served as Commanding Officer of two patrol cutters: CGC DORADO in Crescent City, California and CGC JEFFERSON ISLAND, in Portland, Maine.

He has also served as a search and rescue planner in Honolulu Hawaii, and spent two years on sabbatical from military service sailing a small sailboat throughout the Caribbean Sea.

He holds a U.S. Coast Guard 1600 ton master's license for sail and power vessels upon ocean routes.
