Author Britta Dubbels is a spiritual director, intuitive healer and vibrational energy worker who has assisted hundreds of clients transition through challenging life circumstances to embrace change and live more empowered, compassionate lives. Fueled by a deep connection and love for people, she runs a thriving practice from her home in Long Island, New York, where she works with clients from around the world. When she is not counseling, she writes constantly. Her debut "Imagine Your Life, Without Limits" was published January 1st, 2013, and embodies spiritual modalities developed by Britta over the past decade.

Early wisdom

Britta was born in a small town in Northern Germany, and raised mostly by her grandmother who was something of a mystic and could work magic with plants and herbs. Britta’s constant companions were her spirit guides. She is sorry to tell you that her guides didn’t come to her in a near-death experience or bizarre vision, although it would have made for a good story. They were, she says, quite simply, “there.” Fortunately, Britta’s Grandmother understood, and she was allowed to nurture her spiritual side just as naturally as her A, B, C’s. Miraculous events seemed “normal” to Britta. It was human suffering that was more difficult to understand …

Model citizen

One day, Britta knew it was time to get out of her rural hometown. But how? Turning to her guides, she switched on the TV and saw a commercial for a national model search. She applied. She won. Transplanted from Germany to NYC at age 16, she travelled around the world with the prestigious Ford agency, graced magazine covers and even landed a spread in 1993’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. It was fabulous .. she was fabulous .. but then … she began to recognize the pain around her. Her guides were back in town and this time, they weren’t leaving … She quit modeling and moved to California where she devoured spiritual psychology, and every healing modality she could lay her hands on, eventually becoming an Imagery & Reiki Master and licensed hypnotist.

Practical magic

Almost 6' tall with a megawatt smile, people are instinctively drawn to Britta's warmth, humor and love of life. She is a woman on a mission, delighted to communicate through multiple platforms from the written word and in-person workshops through audio and video programming. She says: "If life has "imposed" change upon you, or you are “sensing the call” to create change, do not hesitate. The world may look chaotic, but in fact there has never been this much support energetically and spiritually to reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose and alignment with ones truth."
