Tracee Ford

Tracee Ford, known to readers as The Smart Mouth Writer, has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. She is an award-winning novelist and the founder of Ozwind Publishing, LLC.

Her debut novel, The Fine Line, earned a Five-Star Reader’s Favorite Award in 2013. Her second novel, Idolum, also received a Reader’s Favorite Award and was nominated by the Paranormal Romance Guild for Best Romantic Suspense Novel of 2013, placing second. Her third novel, Through Glass Darkly, won First Place for Best Paranormal Romance (General) in 2015, and the Between Worlds series was awarded Second Place for Best Paranormal Romance that same year. Idolum was originally traditionally published and later republished by the author under the title Voice of the Dead.

Tracee’s creative path has been anything but ordinary. She has worked as a playwright, director, and puppeteer. These experiences continue to inform her richly layered storytelling. Her lifelong fascination with the paranormal, combined with deep insight into the shadows that shape human experience, gives her suspense and paranormal fiction emotional and psychological depth. In addition to these genres, she has expanded her writing into young adult fantasy and autobiographical prose.
