Fergus Crotty

I'm a demonstrably successful, self-published novelist and competition winning screenwriter with a large and diverse body of original, high-concept, commercially successful work.

I have a dark, cynical sense of humour, and I like to write controversial, boundary pushing material, with broad appeal.

Notable achievements:

● Silver Prize Winner (2021, Action), Finalist (2010, Family) and Quarterfinalist (2020, Comedy), at the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards.

● Winner of the painkiller project, where my short comedy play ‘A Case of Mistaken Identity’ was made into a podcast starring Toby Jones and Owen Teale.

● BBC Writer’s Room Top 1% (2021), Top 14% (2020)

● Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Awards Top 15%
