Thomas Holliday

Thomas Holliday is a writer, opera stage director, librettist, translator, educator and lecturer. A Colorado resident for more than three decades, he is the author of "Falling Up: The Days and Nights of Carlisle Floyd," the authorized biography of America's most successful and prolific composer of opera, published by Syracuse University Press; and soon to be augmented by "The Carlisle Century," covering the last decade of Floyd's life, and his centennial in 2026. Holliday has written six volumes of "The Counterfactual Mozart," a series of imagined mysteries and thrillers featuring that inimitable genius.
