Michael V. Kennedy

Michael V. Kennedy was born in New Jersey and began writing at an early age. He holds a PhD in History from Lehigh University and has taught and published historical works for over two decades. Recent literary pursuits include his "Paul Blaine, Covert Agent" series of topical adventure and humor and the Dix Franklin novels, set in 1940s San Francisco, including "By Dawn's Early Light", "The Cat with 8 Lives", "Have You Lost Your Marbles" and "Writers Cramped" with Ray Pennetti.

Kennedy uses historical events and recent international political situations and conflicts to anchor his tales.

The "Paul Blaine" series includes stories involving theft of military secrets, terrorist activities and tension with North Korea, all done in a humorous vein. The "Dixon Franklin Who-Dun-It" series includes a tinge of humor along with suspense and mystery

The author lives in North Carolina with his wife, Jennifer. They have three daughters, currently one granddaughter, and a cat.
