Laljee Verma

Lalji Verma (borne 1941) is a medical doctor and served with the Indian Air Force for 4 decades having retired as an Air Marshal. He has been writing in Hindi and English and has 3 collections of Hindi poetry, one anthology of English poems, and a play in Hindi. Having specialized in environmental issues, specifically waste management he published a book on hospital waste management with a fellowship grant. Basically, a thinker, and deeply concerned about the current Indian polity and faulty governance he has recently published a book entitled "Indians in the Mirror View of a Common Man, The Aam Aadmi" in English. Published in November 2013, and this book has already sold more than 1000 copies. 2nd edition has been published with a changed title: "Indians in Mirror, View of a Common Man, Politics, Governance and Religious identity". The book has chapters, and different chapters have also been published separately, considering readers with an interest in a particular topic only, instead of the whole book.

Karma is essential and relevant in anyone's day-to-day life. One must understand at least the basics of its doctrine, and the philosophy of karma. He has recently published a book: "Karma its Applicability and Relevance in Day to day Life"

"Womb of Time" is an epic poem in English, published in 2019, and another edition in 2020. Another book on knowing the self, "Selfish Mind, Slavish Body, a Quest Into Self-Identity" is under publication. Currently, he is working on a novel drawing from his personal experience.
