C. A. James

C. A. James is the pen name that has been employed by the author and his collaborator for a number of delightful, family-friendly books and short stores. These include:

* Sweetie's Song: The Meadows of Heaven

* Henry, Eddie, and Me

* Frank's Place

* Disposable

Like the characters in several of our stories, we live and write in the Hill Country of Texas. The author of the C. A. James books has had a total of 15 books (via publishing houses such as McGraw-Hill, Prentice-Hall, Sage, Berkley, etc.) and more than 360 articles published. Three of those books have received national and international awards - as have several of his articles. He is also the recipient of the First Hartford Prize, the MORS John K. Walker, Jr. Award, and (to his surprise) even an Outdoor Writers Book of the Year Award.

My collaborator - and source of inspiration - and I strive to create books and stories that are family-friendly - even when dealing with serious matters. Our books provide an important, life-affirming message ... without being "preachy." And you certainly won't find any vampires, zombies, gratuitous violence, or mommy-porn in the pages of our novels and short stories. Instead, you'll discover some delightful characters and stories with a positive message.
