Erin Spineto is the mind behind Surf Kisses, a closed-door, beachy romance series packed with bold, wave-riding women with type 1 diabetes who juggle perfect waves, swoony surfers, and the kind of wild ocean adventures that make for the best stories.

A lifelong adventurer and type 1 diabetes advocate, Erin has spent the last three decades ignoring perfectly reasonable medical advice by tackling wild endurance adventures like a solo 100-mile sail through the Florida Keys and team swims and paddle expeditions with other delightfully stubborn T1D athletes who also believe “boring” is a far scarier diagnosis than diabetes.

When she isn’t writing her next swoony surfing love story, Erin has a love affair with empty beaches, warm water, and a post-surf lunch of fish tacos and Diet Dr Pepper on a sun-drenched patio with her own real life hero, Tony, and their two surfing children.
