Loie Lawless

Loie Lawless was born in Illinois in 1925. She has always loved writing. She grew up in the Chicago area and married her Marine right out of high school and just before he was sent overseas to fight in WWII. Loie has worn many hats over the years, mother of 4, family maker, working woman, small business owner, apple orchard farmer, but the "Author Hat" was put on hold for many many years.

Loie has written a variety of short stories over the years, as time would permit, that will soon be published on Amazon and available as an ebook.

At 87 years of age, Loie hasn't got a long list of books to her credit, just a life well lived. Kim's Story: Murder in the Everglades is her first full book novel. She is working on the sequel to this captivating mystery and hopes to have it published in the fall of 2013.

At this age most authors have multitudes of books to their credit and are looking forward to retirement. The fact that Loie is just now living out a life long dream at the age of 87 is a testament to her intelligence and will to keep on living life to it's fullest. She inspires all who know and love her.
