Dennis Nolan

Dennis was born and raised in the small rural community of Muren and attended schools in the nearby towns of Winslow and Oakland City. He earned both a BS and an MS degree in Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering from Indiana State University and Indiana University. Over a distinguished career spanning more than 40 years, he worked as a Reliability Engineering consultant, chairing numerous Failure Analysis and Artificial Intelligence projects.

He has authored two notable engineering-related non-fiction books: "The Reliability Engineering Bible," "The Reliability Engineering Handbook," and "The Pitfalls of Multitasking," as well as one for his hobby books, "Creating Bonsai."

Following his retirement, He settled in the Ozarks of Missouri, where he embraced his passions for woodworking and Fiction writing. Among his Fictional works are "The Tree of Life" and "The Adventures of Little Porker."

As a summa cum laude college graduate, he continues to reflect his educational and enlightening writing style, which resonates with readers seeking to engage with thoughtful themes. Dennis continues to inspire through his diverse contributions to both engineering and literature.
