Basabi Banerjee

Basabi Banerjee is a Singapore based author of children's books. After getting her graduate and post graduate degrees in English she trained to become an ESL teacher and has enjoyed teaching both children and adults. She gives phonics and comprehension lessons to children who need help in improving their command of the language and has been doing this on a pro bono basis for over a decade. She is married with two grown-up children.

Basabi's books, 'All About Poochie', 'More About Poochie' and 'Poochie Does His Bit' capture the eventful life of her adorable pet Maltese who spent thirteen years in Singapore and was a much loved member of her family.
