Ben Warden

Ben Warden is the self-published author of the rom-com-inspired novel 'Life Without', which has reached readers worldwide, with 5,750 copies processed across Amazon marketplaces. He is also the founder and editor of Serious Flash Fiction, an annual Flash Fiction competition that has been celebrating creative brevity and showcasing emerging writing talent for over 11 years.

A storyteller at heart, Ben is known for crafting character-driven narratives that transcend genre boundaries, driven by the intricacies of human motivations and relationships. His educational foundation in storytelling includes a Master’s in Creative Writing from York St. John University, as well as a Film, Television, and Radio degree from Canterbury Christ Church University, where he discovered his passion for writing while studying under acclaimed dramatist and screenwriter Goran Stefanovski.

Growing up in York, Ben’s love of storytelling began with an ‘80s-era fascination for making home videos—a creative spark that has evolved into a lifelong pursuit of narrative exploration.
