See www.RoseKlix.com for more information. Rose Klix loves life in the foothills. She was reared in the Black Hills of South Dakota and currently views the Appalachian Mountains in Tennessee. She "retired" after 20+ years of federal employment. Rose earned her BA in English from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. She also attended several Writers' Center workshops in Bethesda, MD and other southern regions. In 2010 she founded the Poetry Society of TN - NE branch. The Poetry Society of Tennessee honored her as the poetry society poet laureate in 2010-11.

In 2012 she discovered she had been writing poetry for 50 years. Her poetry collection grew into a two-volume set titled "Pastiche of Poetry." Rose's successes also include fiction and nonfiction and produced stage plays. "My Short and Long-Stemmed Stories" collection of award-winning, new, and previously published fiction was released in 2014. All her books are available on Amazon, both print and Kindle versions.

Rose's works are also included in a number of collections of both poetry and prose, including: two short stories and a poem in the 2014 inaugural issue of the annual "Black Hills Literary Journal - The Family Issue;" Mountain Girl Press published her short story in "Broken Petals;"

South Dakota State Poetry Society published Rose's poems in several issues of "Pasque Petals;" White Buffalo published her poetry in "Gifts of the Great Spirit;" and poems in "Golden Words."

Her poetry has often appeared in the Tennessee Voices anthology of the 1st place winners sponsored by the Poetry Society of Tennessee. She served on the Editorial Board for the 2019-2020 edition and will serve again on the 2020-2021 edition.
