Mandy Dawson

Mandy Dawson started writing in the fourth grade with Bonanza fan fiction. She's moved on from the Cartwrights and the Wild West, finding love in romance novels.

She is the author of Elemental Awakening, the first of her Elemental Trilogy, as well as a contributor to the Three Christmas anthologies. Her fiction can also be found in Metaphysical Gravity, Echoes of Darkness, Open Studio, and Precipice: The Literary Anthology of Write on Edge. Her non-fiction has been featured on Momtastic, BlogHer, Mamapedia, VProud, and has appeared on HuffPost Live. A founding member of Bannerwing Books, a co-op of independent authors, Mandy is an editorial developer and professional beta reader.

Mandy lives on the California Central Coast with her two children, two cats, one dog, six chickens, and incredibly patient boyfriend. When she's not writing, editing, or reading, she can be found in her garden or kitchen where she uses her Baroness title to get out of doing dishes.
