Although Ava Farmer is over 200 years old, she might have some books to come. "Paws and Prejudice" could be the next one. She released her book "Second Impressions" shortly after she was discovered ALIVE and well on a farm in 2011 in Upperville, Virginia. She is the essential voice of years of research and experience culminating into a much-desired sequel to "Pride & Prejudice". She was once quoted as saying, "If Jane Austen had lived longer than her all-too-brief one-and-forty years, this might have been the sequel to 'Pride & Prejudice'." She felt Miss Austen was taken from the world at too young an age and chose to honor her legacy in the best way she knew how. She drew upon Austen's own lively idiom to show what kind of novelist she might have become. Ava spends her days writing on her farm and reading and re-reading Austen's novels with her cats (some titles over 100 times!). Ava has come forward to share these richly encyclopedic witty tales with Austen aficionados of all ages.
