Robert Menzies

Robert Menzies was brought up on a farm in northern NSW. His father employed a large number of seasonal workers who provided great fascination for Robert as a child. These men were almost always on the run - from the law or their wives or both - and provided Robert with a plethora of stories, settings and characters that have inspired his writing.
