Lyn Dyson

Lyn Dyson is an enthusiastic amateur historian. She has been researching the history of her village of West Lavington in Wiltshire for the past twenty years, and has published the results of much of that research in order to raise funds for the West Lavington Youth Club.

Most of the people who lived in West Lavington were agricultural labourers, and Lyn is passionate about preserving the memory of these ordinary working people of the village.

Lyn's latest projects include a diary of the lockdown in her village which is running to six volumes. She is also publishing some works of historical fiction she wrote nearly forty years ago. "The Weaver's Allotment" is the first of these.
